Kybella® is the first and only FDA-approved injectable that is used to reduce moderate to severe submental fat – more commonly known as a “double chin” – and to tighten and define the neckline.
Kybella® is a formula that contains deoxycholic acid, a substance that is naturally produced in the body to break down and reabsorb dietary fat. During a treatment session, Kybella® is injected into multiple areas below the chin, destroying fat cells so they can no longer store or accumulate fat. Many clients see visible results in 2-4 sessions. Once the desired effect is achieved, there is usually no need to receive further Kybella® injections.
