A Mini Neck Lift performed by Dr. Barr ensures your comfort with local anesthesia to numb the area and minimize and hide scarring with small, strategically placed incisions.
The procedure takes place at our surgical facility, where our medical team will prep you for surgery. This effort could involve giving you medication to help you relax or connecting you to monitoring equipment to ensure your safety throughout the Mini Neck Lift procedure.
Once prepped for surgery, the plastic surgeon makes small incisions and begins tightening the muscles and tissues in your neck area, removing excess skin and closing the incisions with sutures or staples. More invasive surgeries typically require recovery time ranging between 6 and 12 weeks to 6 months, and surgeries to the same area of your body will also generally require recovery time between procedures.
However, if you are in good health and the combination of procedures in question will be performed on different parts of your body and are not especially invasive, a combination of procedures could potentially be approved together on a case-by-case basis.
