Baywatch star Gena Lee Nolin has showed off the incredible results of her ‘silent face lift’ – an age reversing procedure designed to improve face and neck ‘sagging’ and restore a ‘more youthful and refreshed appearance’ in your skin.
Nolin, 50, received the face lift last month, and she has now shared stunning before and after photos, adding that she is very ‘happy’ with the results. The actress sat down with certified plastic surgeon Andrew Ordon on the talk show The Doctors to discuss the anti-aging procedure, and she said she’s already ‘feeling the tightness in her neck and jawline,’ six weeks after she received the face lift.’I’m only six and a half weeks out, I’m loving it. I’m feeling the tightness in my neck, in my jawline, I’m happy with it,’ she gushed.

Nolin, who is most known for her role as Neely Capshaw in Baywatch, was also joined by Doctor Scott Gerrish during the appearance, a cosmetic laser aesthetics physician who performed the procedure on her.
‘What we did with Gena is the silent lift,’ he explained. ‘The first phase of what we did is, we used Radiesse and diluted it. We used hyper Radiesse in her neck.
‘Radiesse is what we classically know as a filler, but when we inject a thin layer in the skin it can also act as a bio-stimulate, and stimulated her collagen production.’
Radiesse is an injectable filler – made up of calcium hydroxylapatite – that is often used for smoothing wrinkles.
After that, the doctor said he used a Genius Microneedling treatment which ‘combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to treat the deepest layers of the skin,’ according to Dermatology and Laser Center of Chapel Hill.
It is often used to tighten skin, improve texture, and soften wrinkles.
Doctor Gerrish continued: ‘Then we really wanted to address the upper face so we used Genius, which is a microneedling radiofrequency device.
‘The reason I liked to use Genius on the face is because we can control the depth and the amount of heat that’s delivered.

He then performed a fractional CO2 – which uses a laser specially made of carbon dioxide, to remove the outer layers of damaged skin
Back in November – just before her 50th birthday – Nolin opened up about aging, and she said she was trying to ’embrace’ getting older. She is pictured in 1995 (left) and 2022 (right)
‘Bring it. I’m 50, and I’m embracing it,’ she said in November. ‘I’m proud to say I haven’t had plastic surgery – yet.’ She is pictured in January before the procedure
‘So in areas around the eyes, the temples, where the skin is thinner, we can be very cautious of where we deliver the heat because we don’t want to get too deep and get in that fat layer.’
What is a silent face lift?

- The ‘silent facelift’ is ‘less invasive’ than a traditional facelift, and offers ‘shorter recovery times, fewer risks, and less extensive incisions,’ KochMD.com reported
- Not all silent facelifts are exactly the same, and the exact process will be determined based on your goals regarding your appearance, medical history, and measurements
- As for Nolin, she was injected with Radiesse – a filler made up of calcium hydroxylapatite that is often used for smoothing wrinkles
- Her doctor then used Genius Microneedling, which ‘combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to treat the deepest layers of the skin’
- When it came time to focus on her lower face and neck, he used a different microneedling machine from the company Profound

‘The next step is, we want to get the lower face and neck – that’s where a lot of people want that lifting effect, redefining that jawline,’ Gerrish explained.
‘Another microneedling long-pulse radiofrequency device – Profound – really helps jumpstart and tighten the collagen in that area.
‘Final aspect is, now that we’ve done the foundational work, [we want to focus on] the collagen.
‘We want to look at the top layers of skin, especially for someone like Gena, who has been on the beach shooting Baywatch, she got that sun damage,
‘We want to look at fine lines and pores, get some pigmentation to even out, and also get some more collagen tightening.
‘We used a fractional CO2 and resurfaced the whole face and the neck.’

‘It was a viscous cycle, looking back I realize how sick I was. I had an eating disorder.
