A multitude of diet and exercise resistant areas can safely and successfully be improved with liposuction. The patient experiences minimal discomfort and is encouraged to resume normal activities immediately following the procedure.
Patients with diet and exercise resistant fat in the neck, breasts, arms, flanks, back, tummy, hips (“love-handles”), inner/outer thighs (“saddle bags”), knees and even calves/ankles (“cankles”) are all areas that can be improved with liposuction.
These procedures work best on those patients with good skin and muscle tone – excess skin and muscle weakness will not be corrected by liposuction alone.
Often times, smaller areas can be addressed by in-office mini-liposuction procedure with a local anesthesia (numbing solution only).
